DISCORD RULES

This page looks kind of long, but it’s honestly not too complicated. Please read it.

Situations will be handled at the discretion of our lovely and wonderful volunteer moderators.

1) Be Considerate!

  • The only languages allowed on the server (until we have more mods) are English and Spanish.

  • Try your best to move off-topic conversations back to #main-chat when you can. It’s also totally fine if you’re not sure what channel to put stuff in! Forgetting or getting it wrong is not a bannable offense!

  • Complimenting people in the selfies/IRL pics channels is fine; Unsolicited hornyposting at or about them is not. Remember that there are young people in this server.

  • Please don’t share art that you didn’t make to the #your-art channel. You can put it in #inspiration-zone instead! Make sure you also give proper attribution to the original artist.

  • If a bot or a moderator deletes your message because it contains a banned term, please don’t resend it with the banned word spelled differently. Please keep in mind that there are only a few banned terms in this server and they’re all topics that tend to cause MASSIVE arguments when brought up. This leads us to our next rule:

  • Keep conflicts from outside the server outside of the server. If you have a concern about something, DM a mod before bringing it into the server itself.

2) Also, Don’t Be a Dick

  • All are welcome here …except for nazi scum, racists, bigots, and the like.

  • No racism. We will protect brown & black people in the server with an intensity you may not be accustomed to. 100% of people who say they got banned from this discord “for no reason” said something racist and got kickbanned. (Little reminder that the server founder is not just white.)

  • No ableism

  • No homophobia

  • No Transphobia / Binarism / Truscum / TERFs

  • No Fatphobia

  • No Islamophobia

  • No antisemitism

  • No paedophilia (this includes fan art that “ages the characters up” just don’t fuckin do it, thanks)

  • No bigotry otherwise not mentioned here, either

3) Health & Safety

  • DO NOT POST GORE / VIOLENCE / PORN. I WILL PERSONALLY FUCKING BAN YOU.

  • Be cautious about what you share online. While we work very hard to keep this discord safe for marginalized people, it is still open-invitation and personal info you share in the server could potentially reach anyone.

  • Discussion of diet culture, weight loss/gain, and fitness culture are not allowed in the server. These types of conversation can slip-slide into becoming harmful all too quickly. Talk about these things outside of the server, please!!

  • Promotion or discussion of illegal activity is not allowed on this server. Yes, even if it’s something that the mods or server founder are known to be okay with or even in support of. Please don’t take this one personally — we have to follow Discord’s terms of service!

  • You can talk about having/using weed, though, but you should really be cautious about sharing that info if it’s illegal where you live. All it takes is one person getting a bee in their bonnet (and Discord handing your info over to the feds, which they will do) for your entire life (and the server) to get turned upside-down.

  • As such, talking about DIY HRT is fine unless you’re talking about committing a felony or misdemeanor.

  • Suicide jokes aren’t allowed on the server. Reading tone online is difficult and it may be unclear that you’re joking, so just don’t.

4) Special Consideration

  • We can perma-ban you at our discretion even if you didn’t break a rule. If you’re not harassing people in other servers / on other websites, you shouldn’t have to worry about this.
